Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 2026
1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing works for mAutomate, a product of Easital Technologies Ltd., how to cancel, and when you are entitled to a refund. It applies to all paid subscriptions and AI-credit purchases made through mAutomate. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
We want the policy to be clear and fair. If anything here is unclear, contact us at [email protected] before you buy and we will be glad to help.
2. Payments and merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns for those orders.
This means that when you subscribe or buy AI credits, your payment is taken and your receipt is issued by Paddle on our behalf, and Paddle is shown as the merchant on your card or bank statement. Refunds for eligible purchases are issued through Paddle, and you can also raise a billing question directly with Paddle from the receipt they email you.
3. Free trial
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you do not want to be billed, cancel before the trial ends and no payment will be taken. When the trial ends, your selected plan begins and your payment method is charged automatically unless you have cancelled.
4. Subscriptions and renewals
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly, every six months, or annually, depending on the plan and billing cycle you choose at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
Before each renewal, and whenever a price changes, we give you reasonable advance notice by email so there are no surprises. The exact price, billing cycle, and included AI-credit allowance for your plan are shown at checkout and in your billing settings at all times.
5. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time, in a few clicks, with no need to contact us:
- Sign in to mAutomate and open Billing in your dashboard settings.
- Choose Cancel plan and confirm.
- You can also manage or cancel your subscription from the receipt email Paddle sent you.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then. After that, your account moves to the free tier — your store data is retained and available to export.
6. Refunds — subscriptions
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the FIRST payment of a new subscription. If mAutomate is not right for you, contact us within 14 days of that first charge and we will refund it in full — no complicated conditions.
For renewals after that first period, payments are generally non-refundable, because you are billed in advance for a period of access that then becomes available to you. If you cancel mid-period you keep access until the period ends; we do not charge you again, but we do not provide partial refunds for the remainder of a period already started, except where required by law.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right to a refund you may have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where such a right applies, it takes precedence over the general rule above.
7. Refunds — AI credits and add-ons
AI credits are a consumable digital good used to power generation and automation features. Because they are consumed as you use them:
- Unused purchased credit packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, provided none of the credits in that pack have been used.
- Once AI credits have been used, in whole or in part, that pack is non-refundable, because the underlying compute has already been spent on your behalf.
- Monthly plan-included credits are part of your subscription allowance, not a separate purchase, and expire at the end of the period. They are covered by the subscription rules above, not this section.
- One-off add-ons and paid services (for example additional stores or a done-for-you publishing service) are non-refundable once the work or provisioning they pay for has begun.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with your account email and the receipt or order number from the Paddle email you received. You can also reply to the Paddle receipt directly.
We review every request promptly and aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method; the time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, and is usually 5–10 business days.
9. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we do not cut you off immediately. Your account enters a short grace period during which we retry the payment and email you so you can update your card. If payment still cannot be taken, your plan moves to the free tier; your store data is retained and you can resubscribe at any time.
10. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us or Paddle first — we can almost always resolve it quickly, including issuing any refund you are entitled to. Starting a chargeback with your bank before contacting us can lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated. We would much rather sort it out with you directly.
